Alan Britton

Shane Pacey

The principal songwriter and vocalist came to the Bondi Cigars after playing with bands such as Sydney's Earls Of Duke. His song writing and dynamic vocals, teamed with the fluid rhythms of Alan, have largely defined the sound and direction of the Bondi Cigars.

Chris Brockbank is a singer, songwriter, guitarist living and based in Sydney, Australia. Chris has played in various parts of the world including UK and Europe. Dave Quin

Dave Quin, based on the South Coast, and can be seen and heard every week.
I have been a full time professional entertainer in the Australian music industry for 25 years. During that time I have played in working bands, as well as solo entertainment and duo combinations.
I have recently been playing some of the Freedom range of guitars which were brought out to our gigs. I was fairly impressed with the solid top range of acoustic guitars I tried. Good tone, good volume and control on stage. The instruments were well finished. My duo partner Wilbur is playing one of the electric models. Dave Quin.

Darren Bennett

Kelvyn Marshall

If you could describe Kelvyn in one word, it would be versatility. Since 1992 he has been entertaining audiences with his saxophone playing, drumming and bass playing. He brings to the Freedom family a wealth of knowledge in the fields of brass, woodwind and live sound.

A chance meeting with Darren Bennett in 1993 led to the formation of Black Diamond Music. Kelvyn and Black Diamond are available for live gigs, jam nights, P.A hire and discos using Precision Audio and Freedom equipment.

Garry Bromley

I have now some six month exposure to your line of guitars. With small modifications these guitars are stage worthy and ready for professional use. Fretwork and attention to finish detail are superior to most other Chinese imported brands. I have very little trouble setting these guitars up for a more demanding professional player, and I currently using a Freedom El-151 on stage at the moment, and enjoy it. They are well worth a look

Simply Bushed

After fifteen years or so Simply Bushed is still twisting your favorite bush tunes, mistreating country faves and chuckin about the occasional splash of pub rock when required. The band has opened the Australia Day concert in Tamworth, closed the Gympie Muster and many other venues. How do they get the sound to lift the roof off venues? By using Precision Audio PA120 AMPS.

Scott Surridge

Starting in a church band, Scott played and practiced through his High School years and moved on to Rock bands where he managed to secure work through agents as a session musician and also played in the band Mason. At the end of the 70™s and into the 80™s, Scott started playing with ˜Mr Meaner™ who had a hugely successful run supporting the big bands, such as Cold Chisel, Air Supply, Rose Tattoo, The Angels and Mi-sex.
Scott is currently still working with Mr.Meaner and also the Quini Duo and had the pleasure of meeting with a couple of the guys from Freedom who threw him a 5-string bass to check out at one of the gigs he was playing at. After a short session, Scott had this to say:
Well, I™ve never played a 5-stringer before, but the bass put me at ease almost immediately. After using it in the live environment, I fell in love. The soft, silky feel, the ease of action and the beautiful tone I was able to get out of this piece of work was fantastic. I was only one song into the set and cruising!
